No. Your profile is securely stored on Guruchats servers. Simply log in with your registered phone number after reinstalling and everything — your profile, Club memberships, and history — will be exactly as you left it.
A Club is a dedicated community group on Guruchats built around a specific topic, interest, or purpose — such as Business, Leadership, Yoga, Debate, Job Seekers, and more. Each Club is hosted by a Host (and optionally a Joint Host), meets on a regular schedule, and hosts live sessions that members can join.

Yes. You can view the full details of any Club — including the Host, schedule, description, and language — without requesting to join. Joining is only required to attend live sessions.
This simply means the Club Host has not yet scheduled or launched a session. Sessions are created by Hosts on a regular schedule. Once a session is created and its time arrives, it will appear in your Sessions tab. You may also receive a notification before a session begins.
There is no limit. You can join as many Clubs as you like across different topics and time zones.

Both the Host and the Joint Host of a Club can launch sessions. If you have been assigned as a Joint Host but cannot see the Launch option, please contact your Club Administrator or write to support to ensure your permissions are correctly set up.
This notification is sent when a Host reconnects a session that was interrupted. We are refining this so that reconnection notifications are only sent to members who were actively in the session. In the meantime, if you receive this notification unexpectedly, you can safely dismiss it.
These messages indicate a brief connectivity check when the app launches. If they appear and then disappear, there is nothing to worry about. If they persist and prevent you from using the app, ensure you have a stable internet connection, then close and reopen the app. If the problem continues, please contact support.
You can approve join requests in two ways:
Sessions can be created and managed through the Guruchats Admin Panel. Once a session is created, it becomes visible to all members of that Club in their Sessions tab at the scheduled time.
Host controls for managing participant audio are being added to the platform. In the current version, we recommend that Hosts verbally remind participants to mute their microphones when not speaking. This feature will be available in an upcoming update.

No. Guruchats is built on a non-recordable architecture. Sessions cannot be recorded, transcribed, or replayed by anyone — including the Host, platform administrators, or Guruchats itself. What is said in a session stays in the session. This is not just a setting — it is a foundational design principle of the platform.
Yes. Guruchats encrypts user data and does not share personal information with third parties. Your phone number is used only for authentication purposes. You can review the full Privacy Policy at guruchats.com/privacy.
Yes. Guruchats uses a versioned consent system. If the Privacy Policy or Terms of Use are updated, you will see a prompt when you next open the app asking you to review and accept the latest version. You must accept to continue using the platform. A record of your consent is maintained for compliance purposes.
You can manage notification preferences from your phone's system settings. Go to Settings → Notifications → Guruchats to turn specific notification types on or off. Within the app, notification settings are available under your profile menu.

Important:This is the most important step. The flag you select must match the country of your SIM card — not the country you are currently in. A mismatch here is the most common reason OTPs are not received.

Tip:You can join as many Clubs as you like. There is no restriction on how many you can belong to.
