Where can I download the Guruchats app?

Guruchats is available on both the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). Search for 'Guruchats', look for the blue circular G icon, and tap Install / Get.

The app opens to a blank white screen. What do I do?

A blank screen on launch is usually a quick fix. Try these steps in order:

  • Close the app completely (swipe it away from your app switcher).
  • Delete (uninstall) the app from your device.
  • Restart your phone.
  • Re-install Guruchats fresh from the App Store or Play Store.
  • Ensure your device OS is up to date:
    • iPhone: Settings → General → Software Update
    • Android: Settings → System → Software Update
  • Still seeing a blank screen? Email support at contact@quantum-force.ai with your device model and OS version.

The app closes automatically a few seconds after I open it. How do I fix this?

This is typically resolved by updating to the latest version of Guruchats:

  • Open the App Store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android) and search for Guruchats.
  • Tap Update if one is available.
  • If no update is shown, uninstall the app, restart your phone, and install it fresh.
  • After updating, your profile and club memberships are preserved — you do not need to sign up again.

The App Store says 'This item is not available in your country.' What should I do?

Guruchats is expanding its availability region by region. If you see this message, please email contact@quantum-force.ai with your country name. Our team will prioritize making the app available in your region as quickly as possible.

CATEGORY B · REGISTRATION & OTP

I am not receiving the OTP (One-Time Password) to register. What should I do?

OTP delivery issues are almost always caused by an incorrect country code. Follow these steps:

  • Check the country flag shown next to the phone number field. It must match the country your SIM card belongs to — not the country you are physically in.
  • Examples:
    • If your SIM is Indian (+91) but you are travelling in the USA, select the India flag (+91).
    • If you have a US number (+1) but the India flag appears by default, change the flag to USA (+1).
  • Make sure your phone number is entered without spaces, dashes, or the country code itself.
  • Wait 60 seconds and try again — OTP delivery is occasionally delayed.
  • If you are roaming internationally, ensure your carrier has enabled international SMS on your plan.
  • Still not receiving the OTP? Email contact@quantum-force.ai with your phone number and country — our team can resolve this directly.

I am based outside India or the USA. Can I register?

Yes, Guruchats is a global platform and supports phone numbers from countries worldwide. If OTP delivery is not working for your country, it simply means your country has not yet been activated in our messaging system. Email contact@quantum-force.ai with your country and phone number — activation typically takes under 24 hours.

Can I register with an email address instead of a phone number?

Email-based registration is coming soon. Currently, a mobile phone number is required for OTP verification. If you are unable to receive SMS, please contact our support team — we will help you find a solution.

I see the error 'Something went wrong' when I try to register. What does this mean?

This is usually caused by a formatting issue with the phone number. Please ensure:

  • The correct country flag is selected.
  • No spaces or dashes are included in the number.
  • You are not including the country code in the number field — it is set automatically by the flag. If the error continues, please contact support with a screenshot.

Do I need to create my profile again after updating or reinstalling the app?

No. Your profile is securely stored on Guruchats servers. Simply log in with your registered phone number after reinstalling and everything — your profile, Club memberships, and history — will be exactly as you left it.

CATEGORY C · FINDING & JOINING CLUBS

What is a Club on Guruchats?

A Club is a dedicated community group on Guruchats built around a specific topic, interest, or purpose — such as Business, Leadership, Yoga, Debate, Job Seekers, and more. Each Club is hosted by a Host (and optionally a Joint Host), meets on a regular schedule, and hosts live sessions that members can join.

How do I find and join a Club?

Discovering and joining a Club is simple:

  • Open the Guruchats app and tap the 'Clubs' tab at the bottom.
  • Use the category filters at the top to browse by topic (Business, Leadership, Yoga, Debate, etc.).
  • Tap any Club card to view its details — Host name, schedule, language, and description.
  • Tap 'Join Club' to send a membership request to the Host.
  • Once the Host approves your request, the Club appears under 'My Clubs' and you can attend sessions.

Can I browse Clubs without joining them?

Yes. You can view the full details of any Club — including the Host, schedule, description, and language — without requesting to join. Joining is only required to attend live sessions.

I joined a Club but I cannot see any sessions. Is something wrong?

This simply means the Club Host has not yet scheduled or launched a session. Sessions are created by Hosts on a regular schedule. Once a session is created and its time arrives, it will appear in your Sessions tab. You may also receive a notification before a session begins.

How many Clubs can I join?

There is no limit. You can join as many Clubs as you like across different topics and time zones.

CATEGORY D · JOINING & ATTENDING SESSIONS

How do I join a live session?

Joining a session takes a few taps:

  • Open Guruchats and tap the 'Sessions' tab at the bottom.
  • Sessions are sorted by time — the most imminent session appears at the top.
  • When a session is live, tap 'Join Now →' on its card.
  • Grant microphone and camera permissions when prompted — these are needed to participate.
  • You will enter the session and see all participants in a grid view.

What controls are available inside a session?

Inside a session, the controls at the bottom of the screen allow you to:

  • Mute or unmute your microphone.
  • Turn your camera on or off.
  • Share your screen with other participants.
  • Leave the session at any time by tapping End or Leave.

Can I share my screen during a session?

Yes, screen sharing is supported:

  • Hosts, Joint Hosts, and Admins can share their screen during a session.
  • To begin screen sharing, tap the screen share icon in the session controls.
  • Other participants will be able to see your screen in real time.

I am a Host but I cannot see the session I created. What should I do?

Try the following steps:

  • Log out of the app and log back in — this refreshes your session and role data.
  • Check the Sessions tab and the My Clubs tab for the session.
  • If the session is still not visible, contact support at contact@guruchats.com with your registered email address.

Who can launch (start) a session?

Both the Host and the Joint Host of a Club can launch sessions. If you have been assigned as a Joint Host but cannot see the Launch option, please contact your Club Administrator or write to support to ensure your permissions are correctly set up.

I received a 'You have been disconnected' notification even though I was not in any session. Why?

This notification is sent when a Host reconnects a session that was interrupted. We are refining this so that reconnection notifications are only sent to members who were actively in the session. In the meantime, if you receive this notification unexpectedly, you can safely dismiss it.

I keep seeing connection-related messages or banners when I open the app. Should I be concerned?

These messages indicate a brief connectivity check when the app launches. If they appear and then disappear, there is nothing to worry about. If they persist and prevent you from using the app, ensure you have a stable internet connection, then close and reopen the app. If the problem continues, please contact support.

CATEGORY E · HOSTING & MANAGING CLUBS

How do I approve members who have requested to join my Club?

You can approve join requests in two ways:

  • In the app: As a Host or Joint Host, you will receive an in-app notification when someone requests to join. Tap the notification to review and approve or decline the request.
  • Via the Admin Panel: Admins and Super Admins can also approve members through the Guruchats Admin Panel.

Can I create a session directly from the app?

Sessions can be created and managed through the Guruchats Admin Panel. Once a session is created, it becomes visible to all members of that Club in their Sessions tab at the scheduled time.

Can a Host mute a participant during a session?

Host controls for managing participant audio are being added to the platform. In the current version, we recommend that Hosts verbally remind participants to mute their microphones when not speaking. This feature will be available in an upcoming update.

What is the difference between a Host, Joint Host, and Admin?

Guruchats has several roles, each with different levels of access:

  • Host: Owns and manages a specific Club, creates sessions, and approves or declines join requests.
  • Joint Host: Co-manages a Club alongside the Host, can launch sessions, and help facilitate live discussions.
  • Admin / Super Admin: Manages the platform at an organizational level — can oversee all clubs, users, and sessions from the Admin Panel.
  • Member: A regular user who joins Clubs and attends sessions.

CATEGORY F · PRIVACY, SECURITY & NOTIFICATIONS

Does Guruchats record sessions?

No. Guruchats is built on a non-recordable architecture. Sessions cannot be recorded, transcribed, or replayed by anyone — including the Host, platform administrators, or Guruchats itself. What is said in a session stays in the session. This is not just a setting — it is a foundational design principle of the platform.

Is my phone number and personal data safe on Guruchats?

Yes. Guruchats encrypts user data and does not share personal information with third parties. Your phone number is used only for authentication purposes. You can review the full Privacy Policy at guruchats.com/privacy.

Will I be asked to accept a new Privacy Policy in the future?

Yes. Guruchats uses a versioned consent system. If the Privacy Policy or Terms of Use are updated, you will see a prompt when you next open the app asking you to review and accept the latest version. You must accept to continue using the platform. A record of your consent is maintained for compliance purposes.

How do I manage notifications from Guruchats?

You can manage notification preferences from your phone's system settings. Go to Settings → Notifications → Guruchats to turn specific notification types on or off. Within the app, notification settings are available under your profile menu.

What types of notifications will I receive?

Guruchats may send you the following notifications:

  • Session starting soon — a reminder before a session in your Club begins.
  • Join request approved — confirmation that a Host has accepted your Club membership.
  • New session created — when a Host creates a new session in a Club you belong to.
  • Platform updates — occasional announcements about new features or important changes.

ONBOARDING GUIDE — Installing the App & Creating Your Profile

Follow this guide to get fully set up on Guruchats. The entire process takes about 5 minutes.

Tip:Before you begin: ensure your phone has a stable internet connection and your mobile number can receive SMS messages.

Download & Install

  • Open the App Store or Google Play Store On iPhone: open the App Store. On Android: open the Google Play Store.
  • Search for Guruchats Type 'Guruchats' in the search bar. Look for the Guruchats logo — a blue circular G icon. Tap Get (iPhone) or Install (Android).
  • Wait for the installation to finish The app downloads and installs automatically. This typically takes under a minute on a good connection.
  • Open the app Tap the Guruchats icon on your home screen. You will see the welcome screen with options to log in or register. If you see a blank screen, close the app, restart your phone, and try opening it again.

Registration

  • Select your country code On the registration screen, tap the flag icon next to the phone number field. A country list will appear — scroll or search to find your country, then tap it to set your country code (e.g., +91 India, +1 USA, +44 UK).
  • Important:This is the most important step. The flag you select must match the country of your SIM card — not the country you are currently in. A mismatch here is the most common reason OTPs are not received.

  • Enter your phone number Type your number without the country code, spaces, or dashes. For example, for the number +91 98765 43210, enter only 9876543210.
  • Tap Send OTP Guruchats will send a One-Time Password (OTP) to your phone number by SMS. This usually arrives within 30–60 seconds.
  • Enter the OTP Enter the 4 or 6-digit code exactly as received. Do not share this code with anyone. If the code expires before you enter it, tap Resend OTP to request a new one.
  • Set up your profile After OTP verification, you will be taken to the profile setup screen. Enter your display name. You can optionally add a profile photo and location. Tap Save or Continue when done.
  • Tip:Not all fields are required — you can always update your profile later from the Settings menu inside the app.

  • Explore the app The app has four main areas accessible from the tabs at the bottom: Categories (browse topics), Clubs (all available clubs), Sessions (upcoming and live sessions), and My Clubs (clubs you have joined). You are ready to find your first Club.

Joining a Club

  • Open the Clubs tab Tap 'Clubs' at the bottom of the screen. You will see a full list of Clubs available on Guruchats.
  • Browse by category Tap the Categories filter at the top to narrow down by topic — Business, Leadership, Yoga, Debate, Job Seekers, and more. You can also scroll through the full list.
  • View Club details Tap any Club card to see its full details: the Club name and description, the Host and Joint Host, the regular meeting schedule (day and time), the language, and the location/time zone.
  • Send a join request If the Club is right for you, tap the 'Join Club' button. This sends a membership request to the Club Host. You will receive a notification once your request has been approved.
  • Access your Clubs After approval, go to 'My Clubs'. All your joined Clubs appear here. This is your home base for upcoming sessions.
  • Tip:You can join as many Clubs as you like. There is no restriction on how many you can belong to.

Attending a Session

  • Open the Sessions tab Tap 'Sessions' at the bottom. This shows all upcoming and currently live sessions across every Club you have joined. Sessions are sorted by time — the one starting soonest is at the top.
  • Find your session Each session card shows the session name, the Club it belongs to, the Host's name, the date and time with time zone, duration, and language. Find your session by name or Club.
  • Tap Join Now When a session is live, the card shows a 'Join Now →' button. Tap it to enter. If prompted, allow microphone and camera access — both are required to fully participate.
  • Participate in the session Once inside, you will see all participants in a grid view. Use the controls at the bottom to mute or unmute your microphone, turn your camera on or off, or share your screen. To leave, tap the End or Leave button.
  • Tip:Please mute your microphone when you are not speaking. This keeps the audio clear for everyone in the session.

  • After the session When the session ends, you return to the app home screen. Your Club membership remains active — you can attend all future sessions of the same Club without re-joining.

Notifications

  • Guruchats will notify you about sessions and activity in your Clubs. You will receive reminders before sessions begin, confirmations when your join requests are approved, and alerts when new sessions are created in your Clubs.
  • To manage your notification preferences, go to your phone's Settings → Notifications → Guruchats.
